The National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP), working under the Ministry of Communications, Government of Pakistan, has announced new vacancies for 2026. A total of 94 posts are open, covering both uniformed and non-uniformed cadres from BS-07 to BS-15. Only Pakistani nationals holding a Balochistan domicile or local certificate are eligible.

The largest share goes to Constable / Junior Patrol Officer (BS-07) with 80 seats. The rest are office and support posts: Assistant, Stenotypist, Photographer, LDC and Paramedical Staff. Qualifications range from Matric to a bachelor’s degree, depending on the post, and every post carries an age limit of 18 to 25 years. The advertisement does not mention a salary figure.

Eligibility Criteria

All applicants must be Pakistani nationals with a Balochistan domicile or local certificate. The quota applies to every post in this advertisement. The upper age limit of 25 years carries no relaxation, so candidates should check their date of birth before applying.

Constable / Junior Patrol Officer candidates face extra requirements. Males need a minimum height of 5’6″ and a chest of 33″×35″ (relaxable by 1″). Females need a minimum height of 5’3″. Both must hold a valid car and motorcycle driving license, have basic computer knowledge, and pass a physical test. Males do 10 push-ups in one minute, a one-mile run in nine minutes and 10 bicycle crunches in one minute. Females run one mile in 14 minutes. Height and weight must also match the standard BMI chart. Transgender persons may apply according to their self-perceived gender identity as mentioned on their CNIC.

Candidates should read the advertisement carefully before applying, because the department has made it clear that incomplete applications will not be entertained.
